  1. Hi,

I'm french Lance Armstrong fan, and I want to buy a new bike. The TREK 1400 interessed me because of
it is USP Team colors, and for theses caracteristics too.

Is there someone who have a TREK 1400 or 1500, and what is your point of vue about it ?

Sorry, I'm better to ride than to speak english ! It's a chance for me !!!

    Stef. / Bordeaux / France.

  2. Hi again Stef,

I looked at the Trek site (trekbikes.comtrekbikes.com. Interestingly, it appears that the 1400 is
offered in France, but not in the States, so you might not get a lot of responses... Here's a bunch
of reviews about different Trek bikes- roadbikereview.comMCL 6312crx.aspx

    A+

  6. I can't vouch for the newer 1400s, but I have been riding my older 1400 since 1986. It has been a
reliable, faithful bike that has put up with much commuting abuse. If the new ones have the same
quality as my older one, it'aa good bike. Jim "Stef" <[email hidden]> wrote in

  7. Very different bike?

Yours is probably a bonded Aluminum (not aluminium) frame - as my 1400 is.

    The current ones are welded.
