  1. im interested in some info on steroid use. Im lookin to get started but
barely know anything about it. Anyone know if there is a noob guide on
this anywhere on the net? and are there certain steroids that are safer then
others? which are the most popular? and can u get them online without a
prescription? (like the same way people get viagra from online pharmacies)

any info would be great. please dont flame me with stuff like "you shouldnt
use that stuff". dont waste your time posting if your going to be negative.

    thx

Go for it. All you need to be concerned about are liver tumors, jaundice,
fluid retention, high blood pressure, severe acne and trembling. vomiting,
pissing blood, kidney damage, stomach ulcers, heart attack, headaches,
dizziness, severe leg and abdominal cramping, premature hair loss, genital
atrophy, genital swelling, sterility, impotence, prostate enlargement,
chills, diarrhea, insomnia, an aggressive personality and going to prison.

It appears even the main stream media and other groups are starting to
realize the myths about steroids are simply wrong. For example, a recent
    Law Weekly;

    Sympathy for the Devil
Everything you thought you knew about steroids is wrong
    by STEVEN KOTLER

The road to the future is paved in blood ‹ my own. Not too long ago, a
nurse went a little crazy with my hemoglobin. Somewhere in the middle of
the second vial, I got too dizzy to pay attention, but it felt like she
took pints, quarts, gallons, whatever comes after gallons, gleefully
mining my veins for any secrets they might conceal. The blood was sent
to a medical lab that ran a battery of tests ahnd then shipped the
results to a doctor named Ron Rothenberg, with whom I would meet to
discuss what portents it held. Besides the blood work, getting in to see
Rothenberg also required signing a 10-page waiver, filling out a 20-page
health-and-lifestyle questionnaire and being profoundly willing to look
my medical future square in the eye.

Rothenberg, himself, is a medium-size guy, smooth-skinned and
strong-shouldered, with sandy-brown hair, dark eyes and darker eyebrows.
He looks a little like a Jewish version of a Latin American soap star,
which is to say he looks nothing like his 59 years. He is open about his
age, just as he is open about the fact that he feels 25, but unlike most
who brag of their youthful virility, because of the way Ron Rothenberg
now makes a living, his youthful virility is perhaps no idle claim.
Rothenberg runs the California Health Span Institute in Encinitas,
California, and to the limited number of people who know of him and
understand the world of anti-aging medicine, he is considered something
of a pioneer ‹ which is saying a lot when you consider that the Western
tradition of anti-aging medicine dates back at least to the 1500s, when
someone named Juan Ponce de León accidentally discovered Florida while
looking for the Fountain of Youth.

And don't you waste *your* time posting if you're not willing to sift
through some negative posts to find the, hopefully, positive and
    worthwhile ones.

No info on juicin' up, but for steroid-related reading material check
out Canseco's book _Juiced_. See: http://slate.msn.com/id/2113745/

And I was in the local big box bookstore yesterday. Picked up the
final book in Stephen King's The Dark Tower series. While there, I
noticed a new (to me) steroid tome titled _Juicing the Game: Drugs,
Power, and the Fight for the Soul of Major League Baseball_. See:
    http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=Qf0gGfuBkV&isbn=0670034452&itm=2

While searching Amazon, I stumbled across _The Juice: The Real Story
    of Baseball's Drug Problems_. See:
    http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/156663668X/qid=1122729111/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-5793576-9967047?v=glance&s=books

Of course, those are all baseball-related. Juice is the book title
writer's current word of choice, apparently. Google steroids and
you'll find countless sites for the bodybuilder's perspective.

One bad thing I've just encountered: loss of efferent innervation to the
vastus lateralis. We've been rotating the IM injection sites between the
hips and the thighs (3 per week now...which is better than the 7 per
week we were doing before). Unfortunately, it looks like the last one
into the right thigh has cut off the motor nerves. I've had some wierd
sensory problems in both thighs (feeling like my mobile phone was rining
when set to vibrate...but there was no phone in my pockets) but now the
entire vastus lateralis is just not working. No contraction at all. I've
been so sick and in so much pain lateley (can't walk anymore without two
crutches) that I hadn't noticed until we went to inject there again
tonight. Have you seen this before in your work environment, David? Any
thoughts? This is really getting to me.

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:

I've seen temporary effects from various IM drugs that got to close to a
nerve. I've never seen permanent effects. So, let's be hoping this wears
    off.
