In bed on my back at night it feels like there is a curved hole where my
belly used to be. The skin just drops away from the ribcage in a sharp
drop. The extra fat near the lower belly completes the bowl effect.
It is amazing how I was accustomed to losing ten pounds and straining to see
a difference, when I was 300. However, now, every few pounds can be seen in
the mirror, and I can feel the change palpably. The floppy bulges behind my
upper arms have reduced by 2/3 in the last couple of months. I had expected
to be surrounded by floppy loose skin, but everywhere the fat is gone, my
skin has sucked up nicely. The texture of the skin shows the micro-wrinkles
from my age, but the elasticity is still there.
If this is a new whoosh, I could break into the 150s range within days.
There ought to be a law against showing food on TV. I'll be comfortably
portioning calories, and then pictures of food will pop up on TV. Now, I'll
have a hunger issue to deal with. Maybe the key to the fattening of America
is the TV commercials.... The V-chip should have an option for blocking
explicit food content.
I'm planning yardwork for today. I'll have to start early before the 90+
degree heat of the day hits.
