  1. Never did this before. Was sprinting and heard a pop and had to stop. I
can walk on it okay, but can't move it normally. I am laying here with ice
    on it.

Any tricks to get this to heal as fast as possible?

    Thanks for any advise.
    Curt

  2. Rest. Rest. And more Rest. Also, you may want to consider going to a
sports medicine doctor that may properly diagnose the injury and provide PT,
    if necesary.

I had a pulled/torn hammy, and was out for three months.

Yeah. Get a good opinion from your docto. I popped one about 2-1/2 weeks
ago, the morning I already happened to be going to my doc's anyway. He
checked it, deemed it not too severe, and told me to rest it four or five
days. I ran on the 6th day and popped it again. So I waited again, this
time just over a week, and then went out very slowly and carefully and
all appears fine again. But I'll be taking it easy for a little while
    anyway.

  10. Thanks for the help. I don't think it is really bad, but it was very loud
when it happened. That is what concerned me, but I talked to a trainer and
he said that doesn't always mean it is bad, it just moved over something and
    made a pop.

I can walk on it okay and am icing it like mad. I hope I am back up and
running in a week to 10 I hope. I know some can really be very bad, but if
I can walk on it and it doesn't hurt too much, I am still hoping for the
    best.

    Thanks,
    curt
