That's wierd, that would give me the [censored]. I've got two pairs of these pedals and never had any creaks. Maybe it's something to do with the shoes?

Likewise. Never had a problem with them, and I ride in all weather
and don't look after my pedals much/at all save to replace
cleats every year or so.

Don't get me wrong, it gives me the [censored]. Shoes and cleats (and bolts)
have been replaced (original shoes were shimanos, so I'd hope it wasn't
them)- they still creak. They've been lubed, cleaned and re-lubed (with
a variety of different lubes); they still creak. I'm not so silly to
assume that all examples of this pedal will creak, but mine do, and
that's the only experience I have with them. Took quite a while for it
to happen though, so maybe it's atypical.

Hey blah. these are your carbon-soled shoes yeah?

read in a few reviews etc that people put a small piece of sandpaper between cleat and sole and then screw up tight to stop noise/movement.
worth a try perhaps?
