  1. Let's say that I just got a bike and I'm looking to start riding it in hopes of becoming a rider in the TdF (not really, though) What type of exercise/riding lenghts/drills/etc. should I start working on? I already run and swim on occasion, but nothing more...

    Detail would be very appreciated.

Also, how do I practice/learn riding cadances? Or should I just wait for awhile until getting into that?

  2. Any help? 😕

  3. If you have a base trainer take a look at www.everestfilms.com and you will find a great selection of training DVD'S.

From working on those durning the week to good length training rides on the weekends with cool down rides on the trainer in the evenings. You should look at trying to do about 60-100klm (don't know miles) every day.

You can check out www.trainright.com for some training/coaching options if you are looking for that type of program.
I have trained using the Time Trial video and it is a great workout with some good instruction from Chris Carmichael.
Best of luck in your riding future, you will definately get hooked once you start.

    😎
