I learned the concept of virtual wins, from reading rbr. It is a useful
tool, in that it provides a way to add and subtract wins due to outside
occurances, such as getting shot, etc., that create a distortion in the
actual totals. Very useful rbr tool.

He just says that because his actual total is bigger than LeMond's.
LeMond claims 3 virtual wins. Maybe if Lance's cancer treatments didn't go
so well, he would have claimed 7 virtual wins, but we'll never know, since

I recall reading somewhere that a phsycist estimated/calculated the extra
drag from Fignons pony tail and concluded that it could have made the 8
second difference.
