Comm games courses

the comm games road race and ITT courses are hinted at in the following article : http://www.theage.com.au/news/commonwealth-games/motorists-give-way-to-games-events/2005/07/24/1122143732143.html - The cycling road race begins at the Shrine and loops alongside the Yarra River to Chapel Street before returning to the Shrine via Punt Road hill. - The cycling time trial runs from St Kilda to Mentone and back. So the ITT is Beach Rd. Good. It's a perfect course for it. Not so sure about the road race though ....

lots of really narrow and badly surfaced raods and lots of 180deg corners.

hold something on the Kew boulie so they would have to resurface it! 🙂

those courses look great..!! they have got them doing the punt road hill and the anderson street hill.... very nice.....
see the triathlon course! they go down Grey Street, should be good viewing, all the girls standing on the street corners.... 🙂

that WAS actually the original plan during the bidding process (along with dreamed of resurfacing) but was changed to the current schamozzle once 'we' won the games
