  1. Maybe ric_stern could chime in here...

I will be going to school in the fall and might swim competitively for school. The season goes from September until february, maybe march a little bit too. I started riding this year and want to continue training for racing. My question is, if I am swimming seriously during the winter, would this at all hamper my cycling training during that time?

I plan on picking up a book for training and basically want to be pretty serious about it. If I was swimming I would have approx. 2 hours / day to devote to cycling because another 2 hours / day would have to go to swim practice. That's 4 hours / day athletics during the college year...plus I need to work and study...

Is 2 hours / day enough time of training if I want to be very serious about my cycling during the fall and winter months?

  2. which school are you going to?

and seriously, do u thikn that u will really be training 4 hours a day? hav u ever heard of girls? and oh yea, collegiate road racing starts in like march so u hav a lot of time.
