Large Crescent Wrench that opens to at lease 1 -1/4" used as a caliper and transfer the measure to a ruler.
1 1/8" (28.6 mm) clamp on. (This is the traditional, standard type for most road bikes and older MTBs.
1 1/4" (31.8 mm) clamp on for mildly oversized seat tubes.
1 3/8" (34.9 mm) clamp on for oversized seat tubes, common on aluminum frames. -

Even simpler. Take a piece of paper and wrap it around the seat tube, mark where it overlaps and lay it next to a ruler...... Kids these days, probably can't do long division either. Sheesh.

That's the circumference. Now if you aren't a carpet smoking muppet you ought to be able to supply the rest,but Methinks there is long division in there somewhere,and you have to know about pie. 🙄 😉

Doh! Man, I've been working in the 100 degree weather too long! Got too complacent with my trusty old micrometer. Carpet was pretty good last night, got some nice vintage 70's shag that came from the Brady Bunch set... 😄
