And he had a rear wheel weighing over 3 kilos (Moser effect). Definitely
not a Merckx/Boardman type machine. Reinstitute the O'Bree record I say.

I did like the paragraph:

I think they meant "sort-of aerodynamic but not really that good
bicycles"...

Surely in the case of the hour record you are over the record rather
than under it?

It may be informative as to the lead time
of the ITV2 coverage that this was not mentioned.

Given that Boardman is part of the commentary
team I would have expected a mention (or some
teasing from the other commentators)
