I see what you mean! They took my post and posted it as their OWN. Oh,
it has my name on it, but it says I'm posting as a "guest" and there is
no indication WHATSOEVER that it originates in ASDLC. It makes it
APPEAR that I posted directly to their forum and that I endorse and
participate in it, which is an outright LIE. THAT pisses me off.
That's like hijackware, which has been in the news lately whereby
advertisers basically STEAL space on a legitimate website and REPLACE
that websites ads with their OWN.

At the bottom of the form page, since I have not joined their forum, it
    says:

You cannot post new topics in this forum
You cannot reply to topics in this forum
You cannot edit your posts in this forum
You cannot delete your posts in this forum
You cannot vote in polls in this forum

Excuse me? They can take my words and post them there without my
permission and I have no say about it? I beg to differ.

I sent an email to them telling them to remove my posts. Their site may
or may not be useful, but I have no wish to be affiliated with anything
that a) advertises, or b) uses such deceptive and underhanded tactics as
that. If they want to posts links or even post the entire posts with an
indication that it originated in ASDLC, that's one thing, but it's quite
another to post it under their own umbrella.

I'm going to repost this under a different subject to make sure people
realize this is going on. They aren't just showing our posts -- they
    are STEALING them.

I just gave your post as an example but all of our posts are appearing
    there.

  4. Thaffy, you are getting mad about this, and I don't blame you. I realize
that there is nothing illegal about what they are doing, just immoral.

Nothing illegal about blasting the perps of that site with mail describing
their own mothers to them, either.
