The bike is a black Specialized Sirrus (http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?sid=05Sirrus ).

Saddle and bottle cage are coming from Terry, as shown at

I need tassels for the grips. Also need a pink flowered handlebar basket.
Tassels are so retro that you'll probably have to make them. For a pink flowered basket, I suspect you'll need to either buy a cheap little-girl's bike and snag it from there, or buy the black astebasket-shaped handlebar-mounted basket at target and redecorate it. If it's powder coated, though, it probably will resist repainting. -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. Some gardening required to reply via email. Words processed in a facility that contains nuts.

Cruise WalMart, Target, etc. If necessary, feel guilty while shopping at a big box.

I doubt you'll find tassles anywhere at retail - they've been banned by the Consumer Products Safety Commission.

Somebody somewhere isn't paying attention, then. I've seen a couple on a low-rider and a cruiser, despite the fact that I haven't seen them in a store anywhere. Perhaps there's some other source outside the bike market; possiby in a deep-sea fishing tackle store.
Back in the '60s, I think we called them "streamers" rather than tassels. -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. Some gardening required to reply via email. Words processed in a facility that contains nuts.

That last suggestion of the word "streamers" should do the trick for you. See:http://www.google.com/froogle?q=bike+streamers

What, no pink fenders? Fenders and baskets go together... -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. Some gardening required to reply via email. Words processed in a facility that contains nuts.

Golly -- I hadn't thought of that! I wonder where I can find pink fenders for that Specialized Sirrus . . .

Are you putting on a pink King headset? Total bling bling right there.

Oh. Well, golly, that's some pretty nice machining and finishing!
But no. It's a $500 bike. It ain't gettin' no fancy-pants headset or hubs.

Er, um... Nice hoops.
They'd look great on that pink Diamondback of mine. (The ambiguity of association of English pronouns can be a wonderful thing.) -- Typoes are a feature, not a bug. Some gardening required to reply via email. Words processed in a facility that contains nuts.

Or rims. No expensive (but pretty) pink rims. Good idea, though.
