  1. I have a Polar 210 and a Cateye Double Wireless. Are readings from one
likely to interfere with the other? They will be about six inches apart.
I thought I had some misreadings when the watch was on my wrist, a few
inches from the Cateye. Thus, I am going to try mounting the watch on the
    handlebar.
Or am I just imagining things....

  2. While I can't comment on your specific combination, you *may not* be
    imagining things.

I know my wireless laptop will interfere with my wireless cycle computer and
others have reported problems with cellphones - even cellphones used by car
drivers they're stopped next to at intersections.

I take that to mean wireless cycle computers are rather sensitive to RFI
(radio frequency interference) I have an old wireless heart rate monitor I
may dust off and give a shot. I'll let you know if/when I do.

Also check "line of sight." My computer had to be angled forward so the
handle bar & stem weren't masking the signal of the sensor/sender on the
    front fork.

    Good luck!

I find that it's better to use a tablet PC while riding. I hold it with
one hand, and use the pen with the other, keeping it far away enough
from the wireless cycle computer to not interfere.

I now only ride where I know there is free 802.11 available, but in my
area, this is not very limiting.

Let me clarify - my "CYCLE-COMPUTER" (Filzer wireless) had to be angled ...
    oh forget it. 😉

  5. Thanks for your replies. I'm going back to ugly wires. I don't need the
hassles that the wireless unit creates.
