I am assembling a FSA orbit headset on a bike I am building... Everything seems to "seat" properly, the one problem I am having, however, is that the bottom race which is plastic with metal inside seems to be touching the bottom of the bottom cup. This seems to make sense to me, as it does seal the assembly. Is this correct? It creates a little friction, but if there is not any friction there would be no seal. Does anyone have any input on this? Does this sound right? Thanks!
Thank You! As I suspected... Although, it does seem too tight, almost like the bearing/fork is not able to slide up enough because of the outside diameter of the bottom race. Will this loosen? Will the rubber give a little over time and it will spin more freely?
