  1. My steering is real tight, when you turn the bars the forks basically stay in that direction, I tried to loosen the allen bolt on the top of the headset, but even when it is all the way out, the steering is still real tight. How do you adjust this type of headset to loosen it back up?

  2. If it's a threadless headset, you also have to losen the screws that clamp the stem on to the steerer tube.

    repair section at www.parktool.com has the drill on HS. Suggest you know what you are doing,otherwise you run the risk of buggering something expensive or causing serious injury or death.
