You seem to be using Outlook Express 6 now. You have spell check
capabilities in that program. In the upper bar, click on Tools, then
Options. There is a Spelling tab in there, click on that. Check the box that
says "Always check spelling before sending", and the box that says, "Suggest
replacements for misspelled words". Hope this helps.

Ah yes. That is because Outlook Express borrows it's spell check from
Microsoft Office, and you stated that because of the re-install you had to
do, it's no longer there. Well, if you can re-install Microsoft Office, you
will be able to restore the spell check in Outlook Express. Who knows why it
wouldn't have a default for a spell check on such a popular program by
    itself.
There are also some freeware programs that will install a spell check for
Outlook Express, but I haven't had very good luck finding good programs of
any type that don't have adbots or spyware attached to them as well when
it's free. You may be hooped for now.

Sure you are. We are constantly "graded" based on the way we present
ourselves to others. If you would like the impression you give others
to be one of laziness and slobbery, then continue not to care. I'm not

    Tori

First off, no one's perfect. I make mistakes all the time. For
instance, if I never used my backspace key, the above would have been:

First offg, no ne's perfect. I make mistakkes all the time,.

I know how to spell, I'm just not so great at typing.

I never said anyone needed to be perfect. It's the not caring part that
gets my panties in a wad. This is a written medium, all we have to go
on are words here, and having an attitude of not caring what words you
use or if they are spelled correctly is tantamount to not caring if
anyone else has difficulty understanding you. If you don't care about
the quality and readability of your own posts, then why should you
expect anyone here to care about reading them or getting to know you or
helping you in your efforts? In real life, if you were to ask someone
for a favor, you wouldn't start talking to them with a mouthful of food,
even if you were busy and had better things to do than take the time to
    swallow first.

Words are the building blocks of communication, and you are part of a
growing trend, born from the internet, of not caring about words, which
is in essence a lack of caring about communication and understanding.
    It's sad.
