  1. I have done a sub-4:00 mile on a Schwinn Giraffe.

    That was a looong time ago (before Cokers and before I got my big wheel
    in 1982), with a 28:48 gear ratio if I remember correctly.

    That's from a standing start.

    No, a geared-up six-footer is not better/faster/safer/cooler than a
    Coker or other geared "standard" unicycle!
