Question..what to do about a slipping receiver on a bladded fork on a Giant TCR. Specialized comp, receiver slips around in either direction away or toward magnet, neither desirable, any suggestions?

Gaffa tape? Whay doesn't the mounting that came with the computer work correctly? Maybe a trip to the LBS could fix it?

I had the same problem when I had my TCR since it had that bladed fork--there really wasn't a way to keep the computer sensor on there and in one place unless it was a flat one that mounted on the indisde of the fork. I ended up mounting my Polar wireless sensor on the seat stay and the magnet on the rear wheel.

Cheers for the replies..and I can spell bladed, but not check before I send..oops.
Errrrrrrrrrrrr trip to the LBS, I have no idea what you mean..oh hold on local bike shop? Duh..see I have 3 whole days off work & some sunshine & its all over for my mental processes.
It won't stay 'cos its to fat to fit on the flat side of the blade nearest the magnet, won't fit betwixt spokes & fork, won't sit on sharp edge of blade as it were, 'cos it's the wrong shape, it rocks back & forth, and far side of blade gives no contact. Surely some one must make a comp that will fit bladed forks..hardly rare are they?
thanks so far. -

thanks so far.a small piece of rubber under the detector with a tie-wrap or two wrapped it tightly to the blade. You can move it by hand, but if you set it up and leave it alone it should stay in place. I have an Easton carbon fork and it has two tie-wraps around the detector. 1K+ miles so far and it hasn't budged.
