  1. Sorry if it has been asked - but it isn't in my news servers' message list.

I have a Cinelli grammo stem (26.0mm) and an ITM Millennium stem (25.8mm).

Can I use the same 25.8 bar with both? Is there increased risk of the bar slipping?

    Your thoughts/experiences would be appreciated.

We do. Here it's frequently ITM 25.8stems with 26.0 bars

I am presently using a Cinelli Grammo stem (26.0mm) and an ITM Millenium handlbar (25.8mm). When
initially installed, even with the binder screw done up very tight, the bar would still slip. So,
inserted a shim made from a strip of aluminum cut from a "premium malt beverage" can between the
stem and handlebar. The bar hasn't slipped since.
