Excuse me. When you say "grilled pizza", you mean a pizza put under the
grill of your oven or other things?
Thank you for the answer.

PandoraI believe it means outside on a barbeque grill (over coals), not a
wood-fired oven indoors.Jill

I can't believe such a thing! Pizza on barbecue ! I ask to myself how it
should cook in the part that isn't in contact with fire!
BTW Thank you for the answer!

She must live where it's not hot. I have to convince myself to stand over a
hot grill when the temps are close to 100F and the humidity is nearly equal
that.Jill

helps rpeventing the dough from falling through the barbecue.

heat?!?!?There's no requirement to continuously stand all hunched over a
grill... especially when cooking for one or two. During hot weather
(in fact during any weather, especially when it's -20º) I put the food
on and head right back to my A/Ced/heated indoors. Slip out a few
minutes later to flip or bring in... I can see my grill from my kitchen
windows so any hint of excessive smoke and I'm back out in a flash, but
that is a very rare event. Anyways my grill has wheels, so during the
heat of summer I can move it a few feet to a spot in the shade, but
mostly in summer I grill during late afternoon/evening when it's cooled
off a bit. And the few times I do grill during the heat of day I still
don't continuously stand right over the grill... pick a nice cool shady
nearby tree to stand under with a cool one. There's really no perfect time to grill outdoors, if the temperature is
mild a wind kicks up, or it can be a gorgeous sunny day but soon as you
slap on the food big ol thunder clouds roll in and it begins to rain,
and there are always the nasty biting bugs. But ya can't let a little
adversity paralyze you, Jill, you can't be a wuss all your life, when
it's hot you need to suck it up. 😉 -

PandoraI've seen many variations employed for cooking Pizza outdoors including the
common BBQ Grill. But the most popular (I think) outdoor cookers for making
Pizza are the ceramic varieties that are capable of very high baking
temperatures.
In that case, they use an ordinary pizza stone and cook Pizza in the
ordinary
way.

and haven't found any other place to go (yet). At least I don't have to
deal with 10 inches of snow (shaddup) in the winter. And I can *too* be a
wuss all my life if I want to, so there! :-PJill

PandoraIt is perfectly good in the oven; the holes allow air to circulate around
the crust thus (allegedly) making it more crispy 🙂Jill

she just laughs at me.I use the outdoor grill much the same as an oven during the summer. I
even make roasted tomato sauce to can. This sauce is addictive! It is
really easy to make too. Quarter tomatoes, no need to peel. Place
layer of tomatoes in large roasting pan. Add chopped onions, green
peppers, and as many garlic cloves as desired, and any fresh herbs
desired. Cover with another thick layer of tomatoes. The roaster
should be filled to the brim as it will boil down. Drizzle with olive
oil. Put onto pre-heated grill at low temp and grill until the enticing
smell makes your mouth water to the point you can't stand it any more
and most of your neighbours are heading towards your house with plates
in hand. Remove from grill. Run tomato mixture though food mill to
remove skins and any larger herb pieces. This sauce cans and freezes
well. Some uses for it - as pasta sauce, cabbage roll sauce, thinned a
little to cook rice in, great with meatballs, and so on. I've done this
sauce in the oven overnight which was a big mistake. No one got any
sleep because it smelled so good. The grill adds a slight smokiness
that accents the sauce well.Quoted message said:

Some times ago I 've experimented the cook with refractory bricks. I put two
of these in the oven (because I have a 90 centimeters oven) and then I
cooked the pizza. It came a veeeeryyy gooooooood pizza. It seemed
wood-cooked!!!!!!

precooking, and it turned out perfectly. There wasn't a ton of sauce,
though. This was perfect for us. I don't know if it is on their
website, but it was either the May or July issue of the magazine.Regards,

I have made "cupcakes" using a scraped out orange shell. They were quite
good.Debbie
