Is there anyone who is actually doing this

    Yes, some Dork named Furman.

If he thinks it's such a great idea, tell HIM to do it.
Tell the knob that prog is for non-running beginners, you are already
beyond that if you run 5 or 6 days a week.

Actually the program has been used by experienced runners running their
second, third, etc. marathons. Not a fan of the program, but as noted by
the people who run it and participated you can finish a marathon following
    the program.

You'd better have some experience if you're going to tackle those
    speed workouts.

Right! By SEASONED veterans who know their bodies, and what they can
manage. That's not relevant to this guys situation.

I´m pretty certain I´d need more than some experience with speed
    workouts to do, for instance, 4 x 1600m(400m jog)) at 5:30min/mile (=
    10K pace -
    35-40s/mile; even 12x400(400m) in 77s (= 10K pace - 55-60s/mile)!

    Have a decko at:

    (p.6 for program and paces)
