  1. Captain-

I saw on your site your Peugeot "PX-7" and I have a few questions about it:

    1) is that the original color? (it appears to be dark metallic blue)
    2) any idea what the color would be on an Imron chart?
    3) what year is it?

    I ask because I have a '75 PX-10 (or a PX-15, I guess, since I put on the
triple) that I'd repainted in '87 and put the mid-'80s yellow & orange
Peugeot decals on, but now I'd like a more classic look. It was white
originally, but I'd like to go with blue, and I like the look of yours.

I got the original decals from Andrew Muzi (he rocks) and got some old 531
decals off ebay, so now it's just a matter of deciding on the color, and
where to get it painted here in the Seattle area (if anybody wants to chime
in with suggestions for that, feel free), so I'd appreciate your help on
getting a good color match to be semi-authentic.

    Thanks in advance-

Yes. However I did the gold outlining on the lugs myself.

Not as dark as it looks in the photos though. If you use a Wintel
computer, it probably looks even darker.

    Nope.

Early '70s. I have another one the same color but a later version
    (doesn't have the Nervex lugs)

This was a very common Peugeot color back in the day. I used to have a
    UO-8 the same shade.

The best would be to send it to CyclArt, if you can afford it...

Would this bike be the same color as yours?

Tough to tell with such a teeny image, but I expect so.
