  1. Hello All:

Either lemon or lime prevents Scurvey or Vitamin C deficient. Which one is
it, Lemon or Lime? How should it be taken? Should it be taken as Juice or
    with Pulp? Thanks.

Both of them contain enough ascorbic acid to prevent scurvy, though lemons
have more. So it's mainly a matter of which one you like better. Eating
the actual fruit rather than the juice will give you more fiber, but the
amount of fiber is rather small and won't make much difference by itself
(the amount in one fruit is less than a tenth of the *minimum* recommended
    daily intake for fiber).

  3. Tomatoes are very high in ascorbate/vitamin c and will prevent scurvy to a
    degree.

  5. Honey has many beneficial qualities such as:

If you eat honey that is local to your area, it may prevent your
seasonal allergies. Bees use the pollen from local plants and
eventually it ends up in your honey.

Honey may also be effective in the treatment of stomach ulcers.

Honey is a good source of antioxidants. They play a big role in the
prevention of cancer as well as heart disease. The darker the
honey--the higher the level of antioxidants.

Honey is good for your skin. It has the ability to attract water. You
can use honey instead of alpha hydroxy masks because if its high
content of the acid. It is also safe for sensitive skin. You can also
use it as a moisturizing mask for your skin as well as your hair.

see more benefits of honey in the food section at

from public speaking to saving money.
