Does anyone know why you are not supposed to touch the pellets with your
fingers when you put them under your tongue as instructed? Does this
have to do with germs? Or is it something mystical?

rules suggested by homeopathic concoction pushers. For instance, travel in
airplanes is supposed to be bad for them. Since the entire theory doesn't
make sense. How is an open minded observer supposed to decide which rules
are valid?moo

Now that I think about it, I wonder if even "under the tongue" has a

Now that I think about it, I wonder if even "under the tongue" has a
special significance?Homeopathic medicine should be taken on a clean pallet. While on a course of
homeopathic treatment, you should avoid strong flavours such as mint
(including toothpaste), coffee or camphor.
Homeopathics are most often administered under the tongue. The blood supply
is quite close to the surface there and the information from the pellets is
distributed quickly into the blood stream. (If you touch the homeopathic
pellets with your fingers, it can contaminate them, they should be "pure".)
The cells that recognize the remedies' essence are probably white cells
which are a part of a larger system called the reticulo-endothelia system.
This system consists of the spleen, the blood, the adrenal, and parts of the
brain. Together, they orchestrate a healing action. It is as if a picture
postcard of the imbalance or pathology is received, thereby allowing the
body to "see" the big picture, so that it will then have an understanding of
how to fix it. The more dilute a homeopathic medicine is, the more effective
it is in treating illness.Jenny - Not an expert

Jenny,
Did you make that up on the spot? No, coincidentally I asked a local homeopath about a week ago for someone
else's
benefit and that was her reply. I never really thought about how to use it
or why, I only
know it has done wonders for me in many ways. I've used homeopathy for
years.
Some people need to know all the details behind how to take certain remedies
before they'll take them. I was basically trying to talk a skeptic into
"trying" them out!Jenny 🙂

NO. It has NEVER let him down.
Why was it his *last restort*??
Because conventional medicine had NO answers??

-- Gordon W. Allport, _The Nature of Prejudice_, p.68 (1979, Addison-

She has to be one of the most intolerant persons that I have ever come
across on usenet. Not only is she intolerant, she is pure evil. She
tries to come across as a Christian of high moral values who respects
the Ten Commandments. Meanwhile she wishes disabilities on others,
continues to repeatedly lie and bear false witness against others,
calls a Jewish man a Jew Boy, and says that lying is second nature to
Jews as well as agreeing that [censored] had the right idea wrt
exterminating Jews. Then she repeatedly posts whacko antivac web sites
when MILLIONS of children are dying each year from vaccine preventable
illnesses!!Does evil get any more obvious?? And all this is proven with Jan's OWN
WORDS!!!It is important however to look at the positive aspects of having
someone like Jan Drew post here. Whoever supports Jan, knowing the
nature of her bigotry, is likely to be as bigoted as she is. Unlike
Jan, some people try to hide their bigotry and intolerance. Once they
support Jan Drew, it is tough to hide it.Cue Jan Drew to attack me from behind her imaginary kill file of me.
Just watch.Aloha,
Rich

"One of the facts of which we are most certain is that people who reject
one out-group will tend to reject other out-groups. If a person is anti-
Jewish, he is likely to be anti-Catholic, anti-Negro, anti any out-group."
-- Gordon W. Allport, _The Nature of Prejudice_, p.68 (1979, Addison-
Wesley)One of the facts that seems to be forgotton these days, is God and his word.
Take heed.
