  1. Anyone catch that guy with his ass hanging out-I think he was running in front of Sastre in the last
few km of the race. It was for more than a few seconds. Funny as [censored]...can't imagine how much he
    had to drink....

The guy was probably half gassed. You can do that at the tour, mooning that is- not at the belgian
    classics. It's too damn cold!

    Not so funny ....

Can you imagine what happens if he falls?

And the rider? Some enthousiastic support will be welcome, I guess. But constantly being afraid of
riding onto a falling drunken pig, that's another thing.

There is supposed to be a new TV series this fall on Fox (or equivalent) called The Mullets. I
thought they were kidding at first, but afterward realized it was legit.

    What a premise.

Maybe they get Brochard to hang out with John Daly and play bicycle polo.

BTW., bicycle polo is a sports in Germany (for the Ladies, the boys play bicycle soccer, which is
an UCI discipline). I found only an ancient picture:

    That looks about right.

  10. I used to watch them play outdoors on the bumpy fields of the local public park, bikes were made of
    pretty decent solid material then.

My guess is you have never been to Spain. Anyone between the ages of 18 and 30 lives like a college
student. Imagine spring break lasting for 3 months (all summer) and that is what you will find in
most European cities that are traditional vacation spots for other Euros. Go to any large train
station in Italy, France or Spain and look for young people with backpacks. Walk up and ask where
they are going and ask them to pass the wine and then follow them to the parties. Try to keep enough
money to get home in September. I don't think even the most left leaning euro governments like to
hand out food stamps to drunken Americans. I guess you could ask though.
