You only gave two possibilities. I think neither is correct as the
answer likely more complex.

I suspect that her argumentativeness and mean spirited nature are
multifactorial in etiology. One important factor is likely genetics
and the predisposition to developing those characteristics. And
perhaps this predisposition became realized as a result of Jan
suffering from a psychosis manifested by delusional beliefs/paranoia
as well as somatization disorder.

Now you have the established medical profession tell Jan Drew that she
is suffering from peripheral neuropathy but don't know why that is.
Unable to accept this she found what she thought was the cause.
Actually I should say that at first she thought parasites were the
cause of ALL her problems. When the placebo effect of the parasite
cleanse wore off Jan then developed the delusion that she was
suffering from mercury poisoning due to amalgams. It is now four years
after removal of amalgams and Jan still takes EEEEEEEEVIL medications
that only cover up her symptoms and don't deal with the root cause.

Of course one important cause for the above was Jan reading a Hulda
Clark book. I suspect that a good lawyer would be able to make a good
case that Hulda Clark's books filled with blatant lies and
misinformation was the proximate cause for her deterioration and Jan
could collect lots of money in punitive damages secondary to mental
suffering. Of course the mental suffering that Jan has caused to
countless folks who read this newsgroup must be considered before a
jury gets too generous with her.

Btw, I don't think that lack of intelligence is Jan's main problem
although it does not help mattters much.

Jan Drew is - as far as I can tell from the material of proof I found
- an advertizing agency. If such a thing is a real person is one of
the questions to be answered - this because lots of quacks, charlatans
and fraudulent producers of snake-oil disguise themselves as real
persons, mainly as such who had been ill and then been saved by {magic
method}.

There are real persons who believe that {magic method} helped them,
and from that time advertize for {magic method}. Many of them are
simply nuts, zero-brainers, who like an automaton repeat the blah the
quacks etc told them.

Any kind of discussion with these zero-brainers is totally useless.

The discussion in public serves only one purpose : To demonstrate TO
THE PUBLIC what is driving the advertizing agencies, who they are, and
how the rhetoric tricks and frauds they use are made. This way you can
educate public and warn potential victims of the criminals.

For those who already have fallen into the mental sewage the
possiblility of still helping them is low. One reason is that most
quackery advertizers build up some blocking mechanism, which prevents
the truth to get into the brains of the victims. Most quacks support
in one way or other sectoid structures and methods. Which also
explains, why and how many sects ALSO work as snake-oilers.

To sum it up :

A "person" "Jan Drew" is something we do not need to care about.
We must take care that nobody will fall for "Jan Drew"'s lies.

"Jan Drew" is irrelevant, The names change. It is the driving
forces in the backgound we have to be concerned of.
