on a rampage, and whose treatment requires suppressing the immune system?

By the way, how does a weakened immune system *feel like*? What subjective
states are associated with a strong versus weak immune system? I can't
speak for Rich, but if I needed a heart transplant, I'd rather have those
subjective feelings than have my heart stop working.

donating organs and have had it on my driver's license for years.

Why? If one's immune system is NOT weakened the body will actively work
harder to reject the life saving organ that was transplanted.

Sorry, Jan, I forgot that you are completely ignorant of medical matters and
I failed to explain my comment that drugs weakening the immune system is a
good thing. The drugs did not kill the organ donors. Immunosuppressant drugs
are given to organ RECIPIENTS to prevent rejection. Anyone who has had a
kidney or heart transplant takes drugs to weaken his immune system so that
it will not kill that donated kidney or heart. Shame on you for even
imagining I favored killing people with drug "side effects" to obtain
donated organs. Sheesh.
