Has to be one of the BEST opening stages in many a year.
Congrats to David Zabriskie now in yellow. Hincapie even faster than
der Kaiser.
Lance is the fittest and is there anyone who can beat him?

I would love to have heard the radio transmissions from the T-mobile follow
car when they had to pull out to let Armstrong pass. Probably language that
would make Saiz blush.

I hope they were cursing at themselves for not telling Jan to get
crackings before it was too late ! He could obviously have done better
since he only lost 6 seconds in 5k vs 60 in 15k or so.

That was because he had Armstrong in front of him for the last bit. That
was his saving or he would have lost 2 minutes.

I was wondering the same thing....did Jan turn off his radio? It
didn't look to me like he even had a clue Lance was behind him until he
passed by.

Why tell a rider in an ITT that he is about to be overtaken? All that
matters are the splits.

Gee, I dunno
That's quite an understatement.
I wasn't speaking of the lack of firing synapses in your mostly empty
cranium, now was I?
I hate it when the Clueless Newbies (ick!) enter RBR in July.
The only good part?
They leave by August!

But then you're left with the likes of John Forrest Tomlinson. Maybe
that's why they/us leave by August.

Hey, looks like JT's got his own stalker! At least until August.

Clueless Noob -
Sometimes JT may be acerbic but acerbic is light years ahead of
clueless.
Don't let the door hit you on the butt on the way out. Perhaps will see
you next July if LANCE decides to un-retire.
thanks,
K. Gringioni.

Having an alter ego and a stalker is a status symbol in rbr.
