  10. i live in the middle of one of the flattest, most boring states ever. we
have a few short/mostly flat trials that aren't horrible, but damn i'd
like something over 3 miles out and back or some actaul hills. some
variety would be nice. stupid flat ass midwest.

  13. yeah, florida is flat as hell too. I live in one of the 'hilliest'
neighborhoods around, and even these hills are only 20-30ft above sea
level (plus it's just sand dunes that have been built over and paved). I
have no choice but to do trials on picnic tables, benches, ledges,
    stairs, and flat gound.

  14. Your pictures look like they could have been taken in the Memphis,
Tennessee area. We have big trees and small hills. Lots of thick
undergrowth in the wooded areas. The soil is almost like clay of very
fine particles and no rocks which results in plenty of mud puddles after
    it rains.

Our area is okay for MUni but we prefer rockier soil and bigger hills.

  15. I love living in the UK for that reason, everything is so close (apart
from stockton, thats on another continent or something, its so far
away). I can reach great areas for muni, trials, XC, road & anything
else you can mention (even water or beach riding) in 1.5 hours, max. If
I really wanted to I could get in my car & drive to the trails amanda &
matt were riding in about 2-3 hours, spend the day & drive home (via the
North Shore in Bristol, obviously). And I live about half way across the
country from them! Its why you always see the same people at BMW, BUC &
Crawley, its not a big deal to travel the length of the country to go
    somewhere for a weekend.

IMHO, tho I'm not knocking the amazing community spirit in America, I
think the UK unicycling scene is really benifiting from the close
proximity (compared to america) of all its riders.

    Loose.

  16. I live in mountain central, my house is like 4,700 feet above sea level.
And I live in a valley, the mountains around are much higher, the
    tallest somthing like 6,000 feet.

But its a lot of private property in my immiedite area, so no trails
    closeby.
