  1. Back from the Summer Solstice ride to Primrose Hill.
    Tired but happy.
Great experience to sweep through the darkened streets of London
in a cavalcade of cyclists, flashing lights and tinging bells.
Lots of cheery waves from revellers weaving along the streets,
    or awaiting night buses.
Coffee for 50+ at the Bar Italia, please, and it didn't phase them one bit.

Also pleased to ride in the company of the famous Pedersen (and Tim!).

    Happy Solstice.

And druids on Primrose Hill. And breakfast at the Island Cafe served
by possibly the prettiest waitresses ever seen so early in the
    morning.

    Likewise.

If I manage it, I'll try to put a few pictures up on Flickr.

I would say that he was the one taking the pictures but:
    a) tyre tracks from classic bicycles hurt
    b) there were plenty of cameras about

saved me from myself then. My bike is the blue one with red forks and
bar tape in dscf1488.jpg. I was in shorts and a similar t-shirt to
you. It seems I ended up sat at the same table as you for breakfast.
I was the one with hair, not called Jan. If you ride with GC you might
    know my mum Liz.

BTW someone from THW beat you to flikr

Lovely, wonderful Rapha Epic jersey, black with white sleeve.
I can cycle 2mph faster with this one, its been proven :-)

Huff. I'm of to stroke and cuddle my comfort jersey.

He's right, you know. If only my shiny new Heinz Baked Beans jersey had its
pockets on the front instead of the back...

The best way to confuse a Daily Mail reader is to tell it that
paedophiles form the staple diet of asylum seekers.

hmmn, I meant Tim's t-shirt but I guess that was clearer in my head
    than in my quotes.

You had a brief conversation with me on LB about some unfortunate
joyrider who had killed him(?)self on your street

    best wishes

    Right. Hello again.

I don't ride with GC, nor any LCC type organisations. I live in
    Crawley.

I saw John's reminder post while google grouping on Monday night at
about 21:30. Mentioned to Mrs. Hall there was an all night ride in
That London, so she said why didn't I go. A bit of online looking up
of train times, a bit more multimapping and selotape to get a map from
London Bridge to Greenwich, a bit of bike fettling and jump on the
train at Three Bridges at 00:10. Disturbed a couple on the train whom
I'm sure were having a spot of in and out. Train was delayed at East
Croydon due to a bit of al fresco boxing, with the combatants escorted
away by the police. Train then has to make up time, so doesn't stop at
London Bridge. Get off at Blackfriars (? apostrophe), past the throng
questioning the driver as how to get back to London Bridge and find
    way to Greenwich.

    The rest is history.

    Tim
