    Hi Group,
My name is Mike. I did Low-carb a few years ago and lost about 50 lbs.
Unfortunately I did not get into my thick head that this is a lifestyle

    and

    put on about 30lbs.

Here I go again. luckily I did find low-carb easy to stick to and I

    remember

feeling as though I was not on much of a "diet" but the pounds kept

    slipping

I am from Los Angeles, CA and live close to downtown. I am married and

    have

two children who unfortunitly do not live with me except on the weekends.

I have a membership at 24hr fitness but have not been very dedicated to
going regularly. As I commit to doing low-carb again I will do my best to
get back into the gym. Jesse, I don't have much of an excuse since the
closest gym to me is a two block walk!!!

See you all online. Just wanted to say a quick hello in case you see

    someone

    Hey, Mike!

The low-carb lifestyle is so easy to get into that sometimes some of us
forget that we're IN any kind of "lifestyle".

Nobody much here will coddle you. You want to control your weight, you'll
find people here who will support you in your efforts. If you (this is not
an accusation before the fact, just an observation of the behavior of some
others) want absolution for diet failures, you might find a bit of sympathy
from some, and none from others.

    Either way, welcome aboard!
