Stem: Titanium or Carbon?

I have a ? to your ? is weight or ride quality the most important issue for you in seeking out a new stem?
If it is ride quality is your answer then I would have to say carbon as it is great for smoothing out the bumbs, cheers

Personal preference, but I'd get 4 screws on the faceplate versus 2 no matter what material or how light. Handlebars moving in the stem at high speed was no fun.

Thanks for all of your responses. I did some research on Ti stems and after reading some horror stories about them I think I'll go for a Carbon.😉 So what is the best pick for a Carbon stem? Thanks again guys and gals for your patience.

FSA makes a nice one. Not sure what size bars you have though. Their's only fits the oversize bars...

The Zipp stem sems to rate well in a Pez review and they mention carbon recalls a lot. Do a search on stem
