I chequed in Anquet and there's a path from the summit going E and then NE
towards Creagan a Choire Etchachan. If Munromagic ascended Derry Cairngorm
first from Glen Luibeg and then went to Cr.a.Ch.Etch. it is sort of SW on
the plateau. If he came straight from Sron Riach it certainly is WNW.

I don't have a clue who/what Munromagic is but getting to the summit of
any hill is usually just a matter of following your nose. Keep going up
and you will get there eventually. If that is too simple there is always
the map and compass to fall back on.

It's a typo [1] as any fule can tell. Have you emailed MunroMagic?

I would certainly take it into account. I like to gather as much info as
possible about an area and, of course, check it again and again.

Nothing wrong with getting some background info! If there happens to be any
anomaly then it can be sorted out when doing your own Route Card ...
