After a road race with a feed zone do most people try to retrieve the bottles they threw into the feed zone? I haven't paid attention and did not retrieve my bottle in my first race with a feed zone. Thanks.

Write your name on them, and try to thow them somewhere where your helper can find them.

it's not something all people do. if you want to race there again though, I'd make an effort to pick up your bottles (either you or your feeder). if it's not you, someone else will need to clean things up best they can. townspeople might frown on litter the day after a bike race.
