Are there any over-the-counter supplements or anything (without a
doctor) that I can do to incrase my height? I'm 17 and 5'6", 130 lb.

Midgets seldom reach that tall, so consider yourself lucky.

This is really important to me. I'm trying to go pro tennis but my
height is holding me back. -

It's probably a little too late for you, but you might still gain an inch or
two. -

year or two, in rare cases up to 21 yrs.I agree about drinking milk. Also, eat a good, healthy diet. Take
a multi-vitamin each day to cover possible diet and food shortcomings. -

It is. There are very few male pro tennis players shorter than 6 ft.
Height really helps with serving. -

incrase my height? I'm 17 and 5'6", 130 lb.How tall are your parents? If dad is 6'1" and mom is 5'2", I thought I
read somewhere to add both their heights and then divide by two for
your potential height. That example would result in a height of 5'7
1/2".Of course, my dad is 6'2" and my mom is 5'9", so that would've put me
at 5'11 1/2". I beat that guesstimate system with a final height of
6'1" (which I reached at 16, though).Yeah, I'd get myself a multi-vitamin and plenty of milk as advised
elsewhere in this thread. Forget tennis. Your greatest concern should
be that you're AT LEAST taller than Will Brink (who's /maybe/ 5'7" on a
good day). Good Lord, man! Eat! Oh, and get PLENTY of rest. You can do
it!--

Perhaps you ought to adjust for the differing averages in gender?--

http://curtjames.com/FWIW (which is admittedly little) I've heard a different "formula" which
basically says:
Mother's Father's height + Father's Mother's height / 2 = estimated height
(for males you'd actually be this or slightly taller, for women you'd be
this height or slightly shorter). In any case, there's probably no real accurate way.

Whatever method is used it requires to know the height of one's
father. The system is therefore terminally flawed as it is a good
man/woman that *knows" their own father!! ;o)Ugh!! It's Monday!! ;o(

Actually, there is a supplement available here - it's called "Gro-Tall" -
you take 150mg twice a day and each month you grow around 1/8 of an inch.
Lots of basketball players are taking it. Seems to work. Seems there is a
limit though - i.e. if you are 5'2" you might not get to 6' but you'll get
close. -
