I have a friend who is a professional chef and he has a systemic Staph infection from hand injuries which won't clear up. Anyone have home remedies he might want to try? I think he's about at his wit's end.
A "systemic staph infection" is life threatening. Your friend needs IV antibiotics ASAP, and, if failing treatment, an infectious disease specialtist. Organisms, once in the blood, can linger on heart valves or in bones and need "big guns" to be defeated. It is also possible your friend is using the term "systemic staph infection" incorrectly. blacksalt

Also no one with a "systemic staph infection" should be working with food.

In all actuality, someone with a "systemic staph infection" probably won't feel like working with food (or anything else probably)... if that is any consolation??
