Banners are kind of a fact of life in websites anymore, I guess I'm kind of
at a loss as to why it's such an issue with some people, it's not like
showing up in mailboxes as spam does, but (with my cookies turned off) I
actually enjoy looking at some of the sites especially those that have
similar content to the site itself or sell relevent products; I guess it's
all in how we choose to view them 🙂.

But what most posters pointing out the spammer bit here probably
noticed that the very same guy who gets paid for people visiting his
website is also the same guy who is first to tell other spammers not to

Well, I don't consider someone who posts here regularly giving a link to
pictres that are of interest to group member spamming, even if he does have
ads on the page. Spammers are driveby posters who have no other connection
to the group.

There's a small clique of professional harpies on ASD that are so
eager to find fault with Igor that they'll jump on just about anything
he says or does; frequently at the expense of any real intellectual
honesty. Apparently, he's been a big meaniehead to one or more of
them** and if only he had archived his posts, everyone else would be
able to see what a big meaniehead he really was, boo hoo.

What really cracks me up is that on the rare occasion he actually
dares to return the vitriol (generally he just completely ignores it),
it's generally cited as yet another "proof" of what a big meaniehead
he is, lol.
