I think there are some holes in that definition. Without tearing it
apart too much it's worth pointing out that most people cycle from time
to time. What sets cyclists apart from the unenlightened is the extent
to which they embrace cycling rather than the simple fact that they do
it. They go beyond the norm; I therefore suggest the term metanormal.

In common usage it has a rather stronger meaning. In fact "ab" has
pretty much universally a stronger meaning than "un" or "non-".

Nonsense. Normal - for people - means a healthy variety of different
things. Is it abnormal to be [insert your age here] just because most
people are either older or younger?

My normal condition when going from A to B may be on my feet, on a bike,
or as a passenger, eg in a bus or train. Exceptionally - certainly
not normally, but neither is it abnormal, I'll drive a motor vehicle.
That's once so far this year, FWIW.

I suggest you check the seat for protrusions if you do actually feel
screwed. Should solve most problems.
