  1. At about 4.30pm I approached a trafic light controlled cross road,
as the lights were turning red. I wanted to turn right so moved to
the right hand side of the lane.

There I was waiting for the lights to go through the sequence,
I was distracted, and looking to the right, as I looked forward
again I vided a car about six feet away, heading directly for me.

Anyway the car stopped after compressing my front tyre about 2mm.
The droog driving asked if my front wheel was ok, whereupon
I questioned his IQ, and he drove off.

    Weird.

    Martin.

    Weird.

Mebbe he was concerned that your front tyre was a little flat, so tried
the squeeze test with his bumper, but still wasn't really satisfied and
asked you if you thought it was OK? No wonder he was miffed when you
questioned his IQ. How did his IQ answer, anyway?

He just drove off after convincing himself that he had not buckled my
    front wheel.

You should have fell to the ground screaming something like "Help!
Help! My face is melting" and sued him.

Presumably the OP was wearing a helmet or the motorist would have
also enquired if he (the OP) was ok, and everyone knows your face
won't melt if you have a helmet on.
