  1. my first ride out on the road (apart from yesterday's brief tootle out to see off the start of BR50) this morning into the office.

It appears that in the month off the bike the local councils have installed all these new bumps on the roads i once thawt were (vaguely) smoothish!
Or maybe its just cos Im feeling every little grain of sand thru my shoulder now 🙄

Happy just to be rolling again tho. amazing how much you see riding heads up and a 2-3 gears lower than 'normal'.

Good to see you are up on the bike again. I failed to show for BR50, felt [censored] when I woke up. Went back to sleep, went for beach road spin on my own around 11am, felt better then, but was powerless and got a headache as soon as I tried to put some serious power in. Really glad I did not go on the BR, trying that without being able to apply serious power would have been suicide.

When you reckon you'll be ok to ride some distance then?
