Today (UK time) he is exploring Canterbury on foot, or should I say, on SPDs that are crushing his feet - he's going to buy new shoes ASAP. He intended to buy new shoes in London but apparently they didn't stock size 48 (14 for the locals).
Apparently there are lots of nice buildings in Canterbury, but I guess we're going to have to wait a while to see the pictures.

I started an unofficial fan blog, because hippy's having terminal trouble. I mean, finding net cafe terminals that actually work for more than a minute:

Hippy is experiencing heaps better weather and told me he would leave for Dover soon; I'm not sure when he actually left or where he's spending the night, but he managed to send a quick email.

I own it on VHS, have to upgrade to DVD sometime. I used to watch it at least monthly. My housemate and I would sit down and "read along"... is it unhealthy to know that movie off by heart?
When I went to watch it the second time, I thought it would be disappointing, because I knew the ending. But instead I just noticed much more detail. And each time, more!

I own it on VHS, have to upgrade to DVD sometime. I used to watch it at least monthly. My housemate and I would sit down and "read along"... is it unhealthy to know that movie off by heart?

Oh yeah, well I bought the double DVD from the States after the film blew my mind at the cinema. I didn't own a DVD player at the time. That movie cost me 800 dollars!!

We've got the DVD version. It's neat to be able to pause and see the inserted single frames. There's a surprising number through the movie.
I reckon it totally rocks, BTW. When we first saw it (at Perrys insistence) I thought it was going to be really stupid, but next time we were in the video shop I bought it on DVD, and we've watched it half a dozen times since then. Brad Pitt is such a cool actor.
It's not my fave tho - that one goes to "Bandits", with Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Cate Blanchett. That's one that I recite the lines to.
