I bought a pair of Rubino Pro Tyres on Ebay at a bargain price,
unfortunately they never arrived; not happy. I made the mistake of
getting he tyres sent to my work and alas they have disappeared, I
trust that the vendor did send them (but I could be wrong). The vendor
was from Melbourne so the tyres didn't have far to go.
I still need new tyres so I was determined not to pay the $70+ the
LBS's are charging. I went onto probikekit and the same tyres were on
special, the shipping price seems to be "fixed" per order so I bought
four tyres instead of the pair I needed. I was very worried because
the website didn't have a confirmation of purchase page or an email
receipt, so I was unsure whether I'd actually made a purchase.
......so I contacted the seller via the webpage. I have heard no
response from the seller, however my credit card has been deducted. I
was stating to get worried again....
This morning when I was leaving for work, I saw a blue package on my
front step. The tyres had arrived all the way from England, the
packaging was flimsy to say the least literally a plastic bag with no
padding, just as well the tyres aren't fragile. Anyway I'm now
quite rapt 4 tyres at $28 bucks each ($43 if you include the other non
delivery).
So I was pretty happy riding into work............................until
I got a flat.....time to replace those tyres...
