  1. Went for a super long ride yesterday.....7.5 hours (220km) which is my longest ride of the year so far (training for ultra distance races such as 24 hour). It had to be one of my best rides ever however I am concerned about my hydration and food intake. I felt strong from start to finish of the ride, even staying in the big ring on my final climb which I usually do in my small ring.

I drank 2 bottles of energy drink (eload) and 2 cokes, ate 3 CarbBOOMs and 1 chocolate bar. One would think I didn't drink enough but I had to stop 4 times to urinate (every 90 mins or so) and all 4 times things were fairly clear. I do stay well hydrated typically (in one fitness test I was 63% water) so wondering if that is why I didn't need to drink much.

Thoughts? Should I force myself to drink/eat more?
