Just had another look at that Lance-Nike commercial.

It's got to be the best commercial ever.
It inspires me to ride, (but not to buy Nike).

What did you think of the "enjoy the weather" one?
One of my favorites. I'll never buy nike stuff, but I
do enjoy some of their ads 🙂

Is it an ethical reason to not buy nike stuff?

I agree about not wanting to buy Nike, but it's inspiring me to go buy that road bike I've always wanted...

I won't buy their stuff on principle, yes.

Tell me about it. I can just tell there's an OCR3 waiting for me. At
least, that's what I think it is. I'll have to go in when I get my BV
monster back from a service, to drool on all the road bikes.

Just noticed at the start of the video that there's some dophins diving
in and out of the waves as the camera zooms up towards Lance. And of
course we all know about the crash in the street scene.

Hmmmm. I wear the stuff that Nike gave me for free. It's more comfortable
than any of my other gear. Are there any big sport companies that aren't
evil?

Someone needs to draw a big circle and arrow and do a slow-mo thingy
around the stack, because I can't see it 🙂

All you see is a front wheel going down at the back of the pack as they
stream around the corner.

The 'Terry Tate - Office LineBacker' series was the best Nike ad, sorry
Lance.

Your mind is yours to make up. I get my cycling gear made by a small
shop here in Melbourne, except for my shoes & socks & helmet. I have
a vested interest in my gear, it's all my advertising, and I'd give it
away if I had a marketing budget 🙂

Yeah, getting more company cannibal gear soon... I don't even know which
company, but I put my hand up for it. I can't afford to turn down
freebies. It affects my ability to make donations to charities. And save
up for plane tickets.

I'm not sure if it's there anymore. I used to be able to see it but
now I can't find it ?!!

I'd wear anything that I got for free as well!
Tell me when the marketing budget expands Carl...
