This morning's walk was up to Lower Eskdale from the Woolpack Inn,
quite a gentle round with fells of lowly stature. Goat Crag gave
excellent views to the head of Eskdale, especially as I had a rare
glimpse of sunshine when I reached it! It was very warm today,
depite the general greyness - over 20C on the way home. Photo's are

i.e. looking west along Eskdale. You've captured both the foreground
and the distance beautifully: it's the sort of thing I'm always
