Time to move on surely. You've had it _days_ now and you _still_ haven't listed any modifications.
True. I have bar-ends to fit, the SON, I just fitted some lights, a cordless computer, the optional Brooks might count as a mod, I've switched the pedals to (and from) SPDs and I had them change the tyres to Marathons.
But it is still pretty much as supplied...
Can you still get those little petrol engines that clamp on the front and drive the front wheel by a friction wheel???
I occasionally browse eBay looking at old Moultons, and noticed the bike man on the market had one not long ago. None of them that I've seen have been Stowaways though.
Mine came from JSM (a mutual friend), who I suspect was clearing space for kayaks. The separability is not as easy as an AM or APB, and leaves you with two pieces of bike, not a compacted one. Later Stowaways had two gears, but this only has one -- the first single-speed bike I've owned since 1960. It does have a certain charm, and the ride is very soft, but the compromise of that one gear means I won't be going far from home on it. I might use it to come over to your place when whatever you've ordered from D-Tek arrives ;-)
He said the order should be in in a few days, after the Bank Holiday.

Oh yes, the consensus on the Moulton mailing list is that many of the bikes on eBay go for quite a lot more than they're worth, except for a 4-speed Standard someone picked up for a fiver this week.
I did see one very firmly being sold as "spares or repair" for that sort of price recently, but IIRC it was local collection only, in Cumbria.
Sadly the list of things I want is much much longer than the list of things I can really justify buying, and a Moulton is on the "it would be nice, but no I don't really need one" list.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7158534159 appears to be a Moulton someone has converted into a folder. Hmmmm. "ITS IN GOOD CONDITION APART FROM ONE OF THE FOLDING BRACKETS BEING BROKEN,ITS ALREADY BEEN WELDED BUT NEEDS TO BE REPAIRED AGAIN"
