Ok, an odd request - those grey perferated crisper trays that come with Digiono microwave pizza are WONDERFUL for baking other stuff. Fresh baked corn or flour tortias, or homemade pizza for example. And when you live in Florida, "microwave baking", without an oven is the way to go.
Does anyone know where to get cookware with this perforated gray metal/polyester material? Even if they were disposable after a few uses, it would be so much better than having to buy expensive, processed pizza really just for the crisping trays...

I do remember years ago, my mother had a kind of shallow glass casserole dish that had such a coating on the inside, for some reason.

Just a warning - most containers that come with frozen food are NOT designed to be used more than once - and may emit harmful by-products if you do. Read the carton/package carefully to see if there is a direction not to reuse them. Containers like Stouffer's, etc., are not to be used more than the original heating. (I don't know if these warnings are valid, but I've read them.)
Thanks for the reply - yes I've searched the heck out of the web. I've even bought a couple of the microwave dishes that have coatings, but they really don't crisp. They just get hot and leave the food soggy. The key words are perforated and susceptor material. Do a google search and you will see what I mean.
And yes, the packaging says not to reuse the tray. What can I say, I also rip off the tags from my matresses ....🙂 It would probably be healthier to eat the crisper tray than eating all the saturated fat and chemicals in the frozen pizza....🙁 Actually, I use the trays for tortia baking and pizza shell crisping before I use it with the frozen pizza (the latter tends to be more distructive to the susceptor surface).
Ideally, some company would sell these with their DIY food products, like the standalone pizza shells, or even the premade pizza dough, or better, sell them separately as disposable crisping trays.
