I just made some cabbage rolls stuffed with a ground beef mixture for
a pot luck dinner this evening.

I could swear the recipe said "uncooked rice", but as I put the dish
into the oven and took a 2nd look at the recipe, I note that the
rice was supposed to be cooked! Oops!

Any idea how I can assure that this rice becomes cooked? The rice
is Uncle Bens original parboiled rice (cook for 20 minutes as per
the back of the box). The recipe is covered and cooking at 350*
    for 45 minutes.

It's currently in the oven. I'll check it when it comes out.

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Elisa

You will need to add a lot more liquid and they may pop your rolls.
    From the rice expanding.
