  1. The Peter Storm Stormtech, breathable, waterproof jacket that did
retail for £99.99 is now down to £29.99 is you don't mind red/black.

Hopefully one is on the way to me as I type this?

Mine was £50 and has been great so far. An absolute snip at £30

It's only Usenet, no one dies.
My opinions, not the committee's, mine.

My latest purchase is a Nikon D70 which I bought yesterday. Got fed up
of not being able to do justice to the scenery. Now, if my pictures are
    bad I'll have no excuses!

The only downside is that it's a bit bulky and I'll need some kid of bag
to put it in when not in use, preferably one that allows easy access.
    Any recommendations?

    Lowepro Topload Zoom 2.

Bit pricey perhaps, but the camera fits well with standard lens and hood,
plus room for filters, batteries, memory cards and can be attached to the
hip strap of your sack for quick access.

I bought a Fuji S5500 today, and since there was little price difference
between the Fuji case and a universal one, I got the Fuji.

The camera will fit into the inner 'map' pocket on either my summer or
winter jacket, so I doubt if I'll use it much when out walking.
